A version of him I absolutely love. He can be scary when he wants to, but only when it’s truly necessary. I’ve always loved the concept of how he and Optimus would have respect for each other due to this shared standard & honor code. Those two fixing Cybertron together would be a grand blessing.

I’m Imagining Deadlock staying with the family he accidentally made and swears to protect them from every faction & his lord. He & Ratchet plans failsafes to protect the kids. It takes a while for his children to feel safe with him, but eventually they do until they start asking to learn from him. 🥺

And that’s why Ratchet was close to Optimus. Those two are just the same when it comes to taking care of themselves, LOL. Also, damn, tfw Ratchet’s so damn bad at taking care of himself, he brought out Deadlock by accident, LMAO. One hell of a way to take care of your husband though. 🥰
