Konnte mir nicht verkneifen noch eine neue Borte anzuweben, aber jetzt muss ich schleunigst ins Bett... 😅

Das Muster ist inspiriert von einem Fund aus #Oseberg (Norwegen), der auf die Mitte des 9. Jhdt. datiert wird.
Das Wollgarn habe ich mit Wallnuss, Zwiebel und Indigo gefärbt.

Draufsicht auf den vorderen Teil meines Webrahmens. Die ersten cm eines blau-grün-braun gemusterten Bandes sind vor den Webbrettchen erkennbar. Das Schiffchen mit blauem Garn ist zwischen die Kettfäden geschoben. Im Hintergrund eine cremefarbene Sofadecke.

Diamond Stripe Towels. Pattern by Kelly Casanova. After my most challenging warp so far I started weaving with two heddles and doubled warp and weft. When looking onto the weave I cannot see the pattern, but on the picture I could see it. Phew. #rigidheddleloom #weaving

Decided to practice floating selvedges with this waffle weave since I am confident with the sequence and can concentrate on the floating selvedges. Thought it easier before I start a more complex weave with two heddles and a sequence with 11 steps.
