The Running Man (2025) : A competent sci-fi action thriller with a really solid cast, some nice set pieces, and an interesting style and tone that reminds me a lot of 2000AD/Judge Dredd Unfortunately, the paceing is a bit uneven, and the ending is a little drawn out.

Running Man : Although the Action/Scifi formula will be done bigger and better in the future, this is entertaining. Always original and engaging and staring the underused Maria Conchita Alonso, it's always worth a revisit. Plus, what other movie stars Mick Fleetwood and Jesse Venture!

Predator : Killer of Killers. In this era of silly amounts of content, it's super rare that I watch stuff twice, but this absolutely is worthy of multiple viewings. Insane action, Vikings, Ninja, and Fighter pilots. What more could one ask???

I think about Morgoth and Sauron a lot. I think about the interplay between them. The power dynamic. I think about how much Tolkien was aware of that (fully, i believe) interplay and how Morgoth is so grimdark. Like for real.

Robin Hood : So incredibly annoyed by this, lazy writing. Terrible costume. Weird tone that it doesn't know if it wants to be a family adventure or Game of Thrones. It was a genuine shame as it had a healthy budget.
