Navigating fatherhood the best way I know how: by a series of polyhedral dice rolls with convoluted modifiers.

Talk D&D to me.

The Internet has discovered the Andean Condor and its unbelievable 11' wingspan. I can think of a Hobbit who could have used this bird's services.

Part two of this guide to hexcrawling covers how to handle the party getting lost. It's as easy as rolling a couple d6s!

Simple visual guides like this help me ensure I'm not overlooking aspects of the game while doing prep.

Reddit delivers!

Love this handy guide to hexcrawling. Great information and a charming comic style.

Taking a big concept and reducing it to a few manageable steps is an art.

Happy #FreeRPGDay to all, including the aspiring Heart of the Game in Fredonia, NY! A small but distinct selection of RPGs await inside, along with a couple private game rooms.

I assume I have @shawnmerwin.bsky.social to thank for finding Grim Hollow stocked there. First time in the US!

Shout-out to the closeted nerd trying to convert Michael's to a miniatures game store. I see you.

Who arrives by moonlight - and who skulks away in a rowboat? Does it look a little green tonight to anyone else? Has anyone investigated into why the mountain is SMOKING?

1800s romanticism holds no shortage of #worldbuilding prompts.

Reddit delivers #worldbuilding

It turns out that many countries share a common joke that a place within their countries doesn't exist.

Now that you mention, I haven't actually met anyone from Wyoming. Hmm...

Do you have a joke like this in your world, real or otherwise?

These prompts are great!

Here is a #dnd5e statblock I designed a while back for the terrifying anglerfish from Dredge. Very good at breaking boats.

If you see this, QRP with powerful women!

The world of Suikoden features many prominent and powerful women. It has been my favorite series since I was a kid and will be getting a remaster on modern consoles in 2025. I'm very excited for a new generation of fans to get to experience these stories.
