I can't remember where you live, but it can depend on the course. Took my son to a post 16 college open evening for Games Dev (UK), and this one is continuous assessment/project work, cos that's how the real world works

This is mosaic crochet, so each row is either the colour, or the contrast, then the stitches are either single crochet (us) or front loop dc in the row below.
