What is sad about it is that Democratic voters continue to glorify neoliberals like Gavin Newsom. They continue to treat the term 'neoliberal' as if it were personal.

No. 'Neoliberal' is an accurate label for people like GN. Don't hero-worship him or vote for him. This cycle will repeat itself.

Not news to me, but still a great bit of nostalgia, so I appreciate you for that!

I recently added Stan to my playlist, & it reminds me of how insightful & empathetic he was back then. He has definitely grown as an individual as he has continued to utilize those tools. I really respect him.

This song gets me every time, & I think I've been listening to it daily for over a decade. Every verse is so beautifully written, & I can't choose a favorite lyric.

"There's got to be an opening somewhere here in front of me through this maze of ugliness and greed," is my mantra in dystopian US.

@petebuttigieg.bsky.social, AIPAC and Wall Street shill who considers his donors more important than preventing a genocide. Ick.

It's unfortunate soulless genocide supporters tarnish humanity on this Earth. You must he Bibi the war criminal's biggest fan.
September 4, 2025 at 9:18 PM
No, I meant ISIS. The Isreali government has been paying ISIS to steal food, then blaming it on Hamas. You're clearly a gross ass person who with no heart, cheering on a genocide.

IDK if you read the list of white undocumented immigrants who would potentially be deported, but it *did not* include Russians.

It included Ukrainians, though, of course.

Also, he no longer supports Trump, & he votes, but his citizenship could be in danger, as well as his citizenship is birthright citizenship. I hadn't spoken to him for almost a year because of the MAGA stuff. I couldn't change his mind when I tried, & I hate that he had to learn this way.
July 11, 2025 at 2:48 PM
Thank you for saying this, Nina. I have a friend who was a huge MAGA guy. He & his family are Mexican, and some of his family who were undocumented were deported. He told me about it a couple of weeks ago. My response was, "I am so sorry." This is pain in a broken family. It should break our hearts.

'Daddy' Trump is a big fan of handouts to Big Pharma. He got those 10 drug prices that were lowered by the Biden administration back up to more expensive than prescription drugs anywhere in the world. What a guy.

The left has a wide variation of opinions on the COVID vaccine.
I always thought, as someone who is a healthcare worker and therefore listened to doctors and got it, thought it was a handout to Big Pharma, considering it's barely effective.

Didn't Didn't 'Daddy' Trump want credit for the vaccine?
July 11, 2025 at 12:09 AM
That's an extremely sensationalized viewpoint.

Weren't you guys going to die on the hill that the COVID vaxx kills people?

Guess your drama didn't work out the way you thought it would either.

I do want to point out that one doesn't need to be a Democrat to be a Progressive. Bernie is an independent. I've unregistered as a Dem and registered as an independent at this point. I'm really disgusted with Democrats right now. They do nothing but perpetuate the problem of unbridled capitalism.
July 9, 2025 at 8:57 AM
They sure love that block feature, don't they? When people talk about BlueSky being an echo chamber, these are the people they're talking about. People who have run out of sufficient rebuttals & resort to avoidance so they don't have to deal with the pain of being exposed to facts they don't like.

47,000 during Biden's presidency.*

I'll add that never once did the bombs stop being sent to Israel, except when there was a ceasefire Israel broke. Over half the Democrats in the Senate voted AGAINST an arms embargo on OFFENSIVE twice. Dems are every bit as complicit as Repubs in this genocide.
July 9, 2025 at 8:40 AM
No, they are not making the peace president argunent. They are making the argument that more Palestinians were killed under Biden. 47,000 were confirmed dead, with 200,000 missing, likely dead under rubble. We are now at 60,000 with 350,000 missing & likely dead under rubble. This is just a fact.
July 9, 2025 at 8:36 AM
It's a major reason. It's amazing that in a system where we have electoral college & is rigged against 3rd parties, stifling democracy, people vote shame for not supporting one of the capitalist bootlicker parties when their support for capitalist bootlicker parties perpetuates the problem.

"Everyone I disagree with is a bot or a troll." LOL. Ya'll think weather machines are a ridiculous conspiracy theory? Well, assuming everyone who disagrees with you is a bot is up there with the weather machines in terms of conspiracy theories.
