Germany is doing that too, including teaching children basic life skills and other things children should know. Oh, and basically everything else about education is also better there. In fact, there aren't many places worse than the us when it comes to education in general.

I'm not perfectly knowledgeable about the stupid us law system, but wasn't there some case, you know, the type where judges judge after and so, that said police are not there to protect people? Like, having the executive power literally lawfully defined as not for the people is another form of bad.
