But it depends on your preferences when it comes to the overall feel. They are light but not in a cheap way. I‘d say they feel like an upgraded version of the X56 even if they are from different brands

I‘ve had an X56 before I switched to VIRPIL. And I hat the chance to test the Sol-R at Con42 where Thrustmaster was Partner of our exhibition stand. We had the whole Thrustmaster line there.
However I took the chance to touch all of them. SOL-R are a very solid choice in that price range…
