I was genuinely mind-blown when I read it, and it all just clicked in my head and made it all seem so much richer. I shared your post with some lore friends of mine, and wondered briefly if I had simply not noticed where it was obvious haha, but others were just as impressed by your analysis

This is a fascinating angle I never considered before. My mind always basically divorced Zavala’s story from us “just dealing with a video game boss to fight”, but this idea that us fighting Kethiks is a direct parallel and resolution to Hakim is so smart (and so emotionally devastating 😭)

Agreed. I can’t help but feel that may be a little complex though so I could very much imagine it being ignored in favour of simply giving her her more comic abilities. I dunno though

I wonder how Gwenpool could work as a character in Rivals. Whether her abilities would just be comicy or whether they’d specifically try to figure out how Gwen would manipulate the medium of a video game
