It was also nice to not work the chocolate tent this year. My only job was to direct traffic. No mess, no highschoolers angry they were up before dawn to work, no adults getting mad at being told what to do WHEN THEY SIGNED UP TO VOLUNTEER.

Also, I like easily I blend into the runners after I take off my orange vest. Like ya, I ran the 15k💅🏾. I look like the volunteer at the 1 mile mark🤨? Wasn't me, must've been my twin

I love Halloween but I fr wish the day would go faster. I work at a daycare and dealing with kids, even infants, on this day is tiring. I even had a kid not come in today cuz his parents knew they'd have trouble getting back home if they left 😭
