Samsung Galaxy devices could lose a unique feature after all
That's despite recent claims to the contrary

That goes directly against a recent interview, in which a Samsung executive suggested that the S-Pen would be here to stay for the foreseeable future. (3/4)

In a separate, subsequent tweet, the tipster goes on to say that the next-gen Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will keep the stylus, but its future beyond that model is in question. (2/4)

So what happened? One word: competition. While the company was busy refining its HERO series for pros – adding pro-grade features like HLG and timecode support to its flagship GoPro HERO 13 Black – rivals like Insta360 and DJI were quietly capturing a whole new audience."

In 2024, GoPro’s revenue dropped by 20%, the company posted a net loss of over $432 million, and its market cap shrank from $1.6 billion in 2021 to $115 million in 2025.

GoPro’s founder and CEO, Nicholas Woodman, recently made headlines after waiving his $850,000 annual salary in a bid to help the company save money. It’s a symbolic move, sure, but one that underscores a much larger issue.

If you’ve been wondering why GoPro cameras feel a little less relevant these days, you're not alone – and the story behind the company’s current situation is more complicated than just "smartphones got better."

Hyundai goes after Renault 5 Turbo with wild Insteroid concept
Electric cars are boring? Not on Hyundai’s watch, they aren’t

A million miles from its humble city car origin story, the Insteroid is a pumped-up rally racer with humongous box-style wheel arches, a chiseled front splitter and a massive rear wing stuck to the roof. (3/4)

Even the name is a sign of intent. Hyundai has taken the Inster, a small, pleasant and affordable EV, then bought it a gym membership and, well, you can see where the Insteroid name might have come from. (2/4)

What has caused a little more lasting dismay is that Nintendo more quietly announced some quite big changes to actual game pricing. Principally, Mario Kart World itself won't come cheap – it's going to cost $80 in the US, and £75 for a physical copy in the UK." (5/5)

Did Nintendo just give Rockstar permission to make GTA 6 cost $100?
Nintendo's pricing is a challenge

That price is chunkier than many people were hoping for, but given it came a matter of hours before the Trump administration slapped global tariffs on almost every trade partner for the US, perhaps it isn't a huge surprise. (4/5)

To that end, we know that the Switch 2 will cost $449.99 / £395.99 / AU$699.95 if you buy it on its own, or $499.99 / £429.99 / AU$769.95 in a bundle with Mario Kart World, the big launch title. (3/5)

Just as the Nintendo Direct presentation actually finished, there was a wave of confusion at the fact that it hadn't included any mention of the console's price, which was then swiftly rebutted by Nintendo putting out some follow-up press releases with the full details. (2/5)
