Force those decisions onto Trump/Musk/Republicans. The American people will rightly hold Republicans responsible. If Democrats vote in favor of the CR/September, THEY will be held accountable for these cuts. Republicans will then be able to say, Democrats voted in favor of these decisions.

Schumer's reason for supporting the CR/September is EXACTLY why Democrats should oppose it. Schumer said, Trump and Musk would “have full authority to deem whole agencies, programs and personnel non-essential, furloughing staff."
