I reserve no respect for people who choose to cherry-pick their "progressive" views.

The level of inconvenience it has on your life and/or belief system is not more important than working to correct the multitude of systemic issues we, as a country, have created.

We have to do and be better.

If you support capitalism, you support exploitation.

If you support exploitation, you support supremacist ideology.

If you support supremacist ideology, you're not as "progressive" as you think you are.

Hope this helps.

Some of you never read 'Animal Farm' as a child, and it shows.

I was tentatively hopeful, after the announcements from Hamas, Netanyahu, and Trump of a signed aggreement of phase one of the "peace plan", that there would finally be tangible movement toward peace.

But, shortly after those announcements, Israel resumed bombing Gaza.

Bibi is dastardly.

This upcoming ruling will be another key point in the active stress-test of open fascism being run by the current administration against our supposed democratic system of government.

It seems a small thing, but it isn't.
It's another of the proverbial 1,000 cuts.
A federal judge said Tuesday she’ll rule within a day or two on whether a controversial security fence constructed around the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facility in Broadview is violating the west suburbs right to access its own land.

What Kristi Noem doesn't seem to comprehend is that her department has no authority over protesters.

So, her direction to her "agents" to "go hard" on protesters is, in itself, an illegal act.

I know they don't care.

It's just important that we keep track... for the trials that come later.

Is the Leftwing terrorism in the room with us?

What weight do his words carry when anything he promises can be retracted, and Israel will bomb anyway?

Part of the problem with deciding to openly turn the U.S. into a fascist dictatorship led by a ranting egomaniac is that it removes all respect, credibility, and negotiating power.

Well, clutch my pearls, I can't imagine what it feels like to be denied access to basic human rights.

Cry harder.

In this video, we see a member of ICE committing an act of domestic terrorism.

As evidenced, this is not a protest or violent confrontation of any kind, nor was the ICE "officer" faced with any need to initiate crowd control methods.

The final "why" when you reach the end of every question, and trace back to the beginning of every issue we are facing today, is capitalism.

All of it.

It's not just another part of the problem; it IS the problem.

It's weird what the BlueSky algorithm will throw in your feed, like spaghetti at the wall, as it tries to figure you out.
