This is sadly true. As much as we've warned our Democratic representatives, it seems they didn't listen. We saw it and warned thrm, but they didn't want to believe it. I am proud of what they did do, but in the end, I'm disappointed they didn't try to stop it or at least fight.

It’s because in the big picture republicans (not Trump) have wildly outstrategized everyone with court-stacking and gerrymandering and voter suppression. And now we see the result and are bowled over because just trying to govern well was not enough.

So accurate. Can’t believe how many people are willing to promote the ‘Trump is two steps ahead in some machiavellian scheme’ idea. I’m thinking any positive he gets from something is usually accidental
