Maybe this is an example ... in the past week I've been nagged by the sense of there being some sort of commonality of themes between Severance and Silo, but I have no confidence of being able to get online and find an intelligent analysis that's worth my time to read. I'll only get amateur prattle.

It's fine for anyone to not like it, but it wasn't a take on post-WWII issues and situations and so I'm politely objecting to that as a criticism -- to me it was a take on art vs capitalism -- the time period was incidental to the plot. This is not a film for everyone. But plenty of people like it.
