Simon, while I appreciate your effort, but I find it highly unlike that the system would change. The constitution only requires some form of PR (art 53), but most-likely a threshold would require a 2/3 majority. Although, some argue a normal majority might work. Which would open the box of pandora.

It is a bloody shame that there are parties like this in liberal democracies, and especially that other parties are even considering forming a coalition with a party that has to make these kind of promises. As a Dutch saying goes: “Een vos verliest wel zijn haren maar niet zijn streken”
