Tham Phra Non (Reclining Buddha Cave). Located in wat Ao Noi in Prachuap Khiri Khan province. You need to climb about half way up to the Ao Noi mountain where you find this entrance to the cave. Inside there are 2 grand and beautiful reclining Buddha images in two different chambers.

This cave Tham Phra Non (Reclining Buddha Cave) is in Ao Noi or Tham Phra Non sets right at the foot of the hill near Ao Noi. Just before entering downtown Prachuap Khiri Khan, there is a roadway lane splitting from Petchkasem Road at Km. 314. To get an access to this place, drive along for 3 kilometers.

Heading to the countryside and mountains of northern Laos in a few months for a backpacking trip . Any recommendations for interesting places and tribal villages to visit?

On top of Phu Chi Fa mountain (1800m) in northern Thailand on the border with Laos in spring 2023. Behind my back you can see Laos.
