The thing is: smaller publishers use a normal game card (look at Yooka-Replaylee, Mortal Kombat LK, Marvelous games or even Bluey). It’s AAA publishers that do this just because they’re greedy which is funny cause they’re more likely to release games bigger than 32 gigs where 64GB card makes sense.

Sam chętnie bym dorwał kolekcję Galaxy mimo, że mam 3D All-Stars... ale z ceną 300zł (170 za każdą grę osobno cyfrowo) to przesadzili xd Chyba jednak wezmę sobie kupię sensor bar pod USB i odpalę moją kopię z Wii na Dolphinie i wyjdzie na to samo. Liczyłem na 180 za całość max jak przy Pikminach.

They can for example put documentary videos in higher quality/bitrate. Is it worth 10 bucks? Maybe not, but we all know it’s just because of manufacturing costs and a lot of people are happy to pay the price for a true Switch 2 physical. And Switch one is still here as an alternative.

That’s why I appreciate games like MK Legacy Kollection - sure, it costs 10 bucks more, but at least fans of physical games are happy, people who just play and resell can still do that and people who don’t care can just buy digital. It makes so much sense it’s a wonder why it’s not a standard.

That's how you do it! Switch 2 cartridges are expensive to manufacture? Instead of going with key cards just make the cart cost slightly more. Sure, some people will say passing on the manufacturing cost to the consumer, but so is having to buy SD Express, because every game needs to be downloaded.

The thing is - you can decide you want your games digital, I can decide I want a physical cartridge that allows me to play the game without installing and Internet connection.
Nobody even asked "what is superior", you completely missed the pointy.

And for digital all games are tied to one server and the account can be hacked or banned- sure, it is rare, but so is rot, getting stolen etc. And to get them damaged or list, what are you doing, throw them like a frisbee?

I don't know, I can't really see any boxes for PC, guess they're sold out on a such superior platform.
Why would you otherwise suggest a PC to someone who wants the physical version? If they wanted to go digital they can do this on any platform, you know?

Niesamowitość. Kontynuacja tak dobra, że człowiek czuł się jakby nie opuścił hali koncertowej przez te 2 lata! Panel też dobry, także nic tylko podziękować za Waszą pracę i okazję do doświadczenia tego koncertu bez potrzeby opuszczania kraju.

Szukając info o panelu w końcu trafiłem na ten miesięczny post i mam pytanie - jak ktoś się rejestrował na stary termin to teraz też się należało rejestrować czy lista się przenosiła? xd

I think they meant just adding a vanilla Smash 64 to the NSO, because for some reason Nintendo doesn't want to re-release this game since Wii.

Sony does still release games on the disc though? You gave DS2 as an example, but it's actually very playable offline: www.doesitplay.org/game/Death%2...
For now the only console publisher that doesn't release physical games is Xbox, because they just really want to go all digital (yep, it sucks..)

My point is - could Nintendo actually make smaller cards? Maybe. How cheaper they would be? We don't know. To be honest, I would rather pay 10-15$ more for the game if it was on an actual cart, because we're gonna pay this either way for SD Express when there won't be enough space in the memory.

Some games (like Yakuza 0 or Street Fighter 6) would have to be on 64GB card anyway as they're 50GB, so yeah, we can blame Nintendo or we can actually blame third-party publishers for being greedy. Some games like new Trails even cost 10$ more than on other platforms while still being on Key Card.

I was doing the same with PS4/PS5 games, but with Switch 2 I just can't... the colorful spines next to sea of red and different title position is just triggering for me. Understandable though, definitely easier to organize, especially with S2 Editions and games with upgrade packs like FF Tactics.

Nice to see that MvC Collection is fixed - for some reason it worked just fine for me, no sprite issues at all, but apparently I was the lucky one.
It's also interesting to see Nintendo updating lists if some games marked as supported have issues like Crypt of the Necrodancer (it just crashes).

Taa, był kupiony w premierę, ale póki co więcej bawiłem się wsteczną niż nowymi grami. Ograniczam sobie bibliotekę Switcha 2 przez key cardy, a Mario Kart to bardziej dla mnie gra imprezowa, więc właśnie takie tytuły jak DK, Metroid (no i nowa wersja Kirbiego, he) są najbardziej wyczekiwane :)

DK był już zpreorderowany, ale bardziej jako "chcę mieć co sprawdzić na Switchu 2". Po Direkcie, rzucam wszystko w premierę i gram! Wygląda ślicznie, soundtrack zdecydowanie wejdzie na półkę, nie mogę się doczekać!

Akurat PS Eye nie działa (źródło: The Golden Bolt robił o tym filmik) podobnie jak EyeToy itd. Raczej jak coś ma swoje dziwne drivery to nie zadziała stąd najłatwiej z UVC.
A mówiłem o tym, bo wiem, że sporo ludzi mysli, że skoro Nintendo wydało swoją kamerkę to tylko ją da się podłączyć.

Daję tylko znaka, że jak masz webcama (lub dowolne inne urządzenie, które jest rozpoznawane jako kamerka) to można go używać bez problemu, nie trzeba posiadać Nintendowskiej :D Mikrofony USB też działają.
