I don’t have a specific genre fave. I read everything from canon, a/b/o, mpreg, fairies, mafia, MERMAIDS AND DRAGONS. I feel like these last two should be a separate genre altogether. Lol. I guess I have a favorite.

I appreciate writer warnings esp well-curated tags. I know ‘tags are hard’ but it really helps readers prepare and manage expectations. I sometimes avoid sad endings, MCD, SA, & dead doves. I can’t take my fave ship undergo this, even if its fictional. My personal preference.

I have so much respect for fic writers. I am in awe of their brains & talents. World-building, characterization, writing complex emotions and storylines take passion, skills, time, and love. And I get it for free?! I’m all for kofi & other revenue streams. I support then as much as I can.

I travel a lot & want to read continuously so I download the epub file and open the fics in the Books app. This is convenient esp when internet is unavailable. But I always come back to ao3 to leave comments and kudos. I don’t feel obligated per sé but writers deserve it. Truly.
