Here for all things whisky, good spirits generally, organic gardening, sustainability and Spurs (COYS).

Drink responsibly and be over 18 years old to follow.
Release #16 from @theheartcut x @fieldenwhisky Beautifully pronounced aroma that carries across to the palate, banana bread w/ chocolate chips and pecans. Lots of salted caramel - the salinity allows all those notes to shine. I reckon this would be naughty in an old fashioned. #englishwhisky

#0%beer and a dram is my go-to for watching football. I'd much rather have an indie b-corp 0% - what are people's recommendations? Lochlea x Overtone is 👌

Spurs are in the semi finals! We held out and got the job done. Thought this was a worthy dram to celebrate. OMC Glengoyne 16yo #THFC #Spurs

#Partagas Serie D No.4 - has been resting in the humidor for about a year. The ageing seems to have mellowed it—still full of flavour, more coca and wood both balanced nicely. #cigar

The first English blended whisky ever!

Woven Whisky Experience N.22 Pastures New. I've just had my first patriotic pour and I am a fan.

Peach / grapes / nutmeg / grass / white pepper / background smoke

Feel it will be epicly epic with soda. Love it!

Yet more Jean Luc Pasquets in this household. Organic cognac hits differently. These two aren't cognacs obvs - both sounded interesting and I love eating and growing raspberries. I can see this being enjoyed on a hot day before a meal.

Assembling my spring / summer drinks cabinet. Fanny Fougerat Marin Fins Bois 2011, Hibik Harmony - a bottle I always have and Cotswolds Whisky - charming and inviting. Will write this up inc. other bottles I'm going for. Really enjoying highballs.....what are your soda recommendations?

I hear a lot of folk say that whisky is oversaturated by 'limited edition' 'meh' bottles....and to an extent this is true. But equally, there are loads of new and interesting folk making whisky. @circumstancewhisky.bsky.social make incredible whisky, I can't rate them highly enough.

Lochlea make great whisky, they're straight up and refreshingly fairly priced. The 3rd edition of the Fallow series doesn't disappoint. Rich and nutty, dark chocolate and a meaty body. Perfect for these darker and colder nights. Love the bottles - we'll use them as a vase for cut flowers.

I thought the days of picking up anything Weller were 'well' (ha!) and truly over....Weller 12 bourbon at RRP is a no brainer.

Recently picked up this cracking Gordon and Macphil Glen Scotia single cask. 23 years old, Refill hogshead at cask strength. This is a complex dram and really showcases everything I love about Glen Scotia.
