I just realised I typo'd "Taking me leave now" which caused me to re-read this entire thing as a urchin chimney sweeper 🤣

Me? I’m Banque Robbieré, an aristocrat who must have gotten lost in his way to the bathroom. This has all been a terrible misunderstanding so I’ll be taking me leave now if you don’t mind.

I like when the players have fun fleshed out characters and they naturally gel together without it feeling forced, and when the story beats feel natural and not preplanned or scripted!

Our usual shtick is to do smallish oneshots of 3-5 episodes per game, but if anything does too well I’ve considered picking it up for another set of episodes to connect them!

I'm not sure if I could pick just one but I love the crew from @lightlessbeacons.bsky.social's playthrough of The Dare! A Scenario I absolutely adore and always fun to hear how different groups tackle it and also the characters they bring!

One of Chaotic Neutral's first CoC oneshots saw Laurie playing "Ivan Brett from the Traitors" not to be confused with Ivan Brett from the Traitors - who is also a player in the same oneshot (Playing a Fisherman called Danny Minogue😂)

From @hwrpodcast.bsky.social - I used to listen to their old episodes a lot back in the day and I always liked their Blackwater Creek playthrough! Love Joe's character Ken from that - The ultimate burnout student in the 1920s!

Starting with something from our series. But @tolbenpendragon.bsky.social's Princess Lavigne Fallbright from our Fabula Ultima series! It was a really fun tale with two very different princesses and some themes of keeping a kingdom versus having lost one!

We have a Shiver Corporate series that concludes Friday but otherwise a bit of a backlog that might catch your fancy!

This is a really interesting point! I've reached out as to why people listen to our show and the general response is a little "To learn a new/niche game" and then some of trying to listen for the narrative when it can be tough to cater to all crowds with all games!

Honestly when an “episode” is 2-3 hours of unedited audio.

I’d rather have shorter episodes that are edited and snappier. There can be non-sequiturs and crosstable talk but when it’s been 40 minutes and nothings happened. We have a problem.

I like it but it does feel to me like it still has that “playtest” feel, wouldn’t be surprised if it is tweaked a fair bit do an official release!

I’m also still trying to look into finding a simple scenario for us to run in the podcast or making my own once I understand the rules enough!

We started the quickstart adventure (didn't get to finish it unfortunately) and then both our weekly game nights switched to it to try it out. I got to try out the Assassin and Sorcerer which has been fun!

I went from having never played Daggerheart to having played in a oneshot and two short term campaigns in a month!

Also am looking for some small modules to possible run and record myself, I’ve already played the QuickStart so definitely open to any suggestions or ideas!
