I'll always remember being an extremely squeamish 20 year old who could not handle gore, and reading Berserk. I still am bad with gore but I could not have experienced that masterpiece without pushing myself out of my shonen bubble.

The first third of the 03 anime is accurate, and brotherhood speedruns to get to the point where things split off in 03 to fill out the rest of the manga story. Watching both gives you more or less the complete experience.

Definitely feel this to a certain extent. I still have my pettiness sometimes, but some of my favorite pieces of media is stuff that aint objectively good. Queerbaiting does get me legit mad though.

Its pretry crazy how our modern exposure to classic games is so broadly affected by dumps of games that maybe came from two or three separate people max having their files shared around ad infinitum.
