As they lack the concept of gender, the Rhaka use the first syllable of their name as their personal pronoun. This is a feature of their language, Rhaka'na, which is still heavily under development. In this way, I also hope to help normalize neopronouns and bring them closer to the modern zeitgeist.

Rhaka scales come in every conceivable color, and these eclipses, happening at these precise intervals and being times of togetherness and celebration, are reminders from the Kinar that everyone is worth celebrating, everyone is worth loving. That is the message I want to share through my work.

Every 50 days, one of these crystal moons eclipses the two suns, which align at that same interval. There is one for each significant color in the visible spectrum - red though violet, including the oft-forgotten indigo. These eclipses are times of great celebration for the Rhaka.

The Rhaka are a race of genderless dragons that live on a metal-rich planet called Thrin, which orbits a binary neutron star and has eight satellites, seven of which are pure colored crystal. Each of these was painstakingly crafted and then placed in orbit by the Kinar, their gods (singular Kin).
