Many people on Medicaid are low income seniors who live in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Without Medicaid they will be out on the street. I suppose some 90 year old in a wheelchair should just go back to work?

Republicans have wanted to sell off public lands to corporate mining, ranching, and timber for years. The feds can't sell public lands, but the States can. Once they dispense with the federal land management agencies, don't be surprised if they broker a deal with the States to liquidate "assets".
