Senator Lindsey Graham is quietly pushing an amendment to make sanctions on Syria permanent.

Even at the height of Assad’s war crimes and mass atrocities, Congress did not make these sanctions permanent.

The full repeal and removal of Caesar sanctions is the only path forward.

SETF urges Congress to vote NO on H.R. 4427.

This bill undermines President Trump’s new Syria policy and extends damaging sanctions until 2028—sanctions meant for Assad, not the Syrian people.

SETF stands firmly for full repeal of the Caesar Act and supports H.R. 3941 instead.
