I will never understand why this works on some people. Claiming that some of the most vulnerable and worse off people in this country actually have privileges and material wealth that even white US citizens can't get is such an obvious lie. How do you buy a $300K home without a SSN?

God damn it... always "UPSTATE". We're "CENTRAL" NY. They only call us upstate because the greater NYC area has about 10 million people and the rest of the state is NORTH of them, i.e. UP. How about we call them "Downstate" instead.
