After putting this Halloween cosplay on pause due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, here it is 2 years later! I am Margot from The Menu.

Year 5 of making mooncakes instead of buying them. Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! 🥮🌕🍂

Made 2 Cantonese mooncakes: Salted egg yolk & lotus seed for one, the other with lotus seed & durian. As well, Thousand Layer mooncakes with salted egg yolk & purple sweet potato filling.

Brought out 2 of my other labubus to #TIFF50 for the last weekend of the festival. Everyone complimented on how cute it was that they had a mask too 😷. They were kept safe from COVID and other respiratory illnesses 😊

Someone's racism is showing. Non-English films bring Cineplex a good amount of revenue (in certain markets) than your Hollywood ones. If you don't like it, don't watch it. No one is forcing you to buy a ticket, racist.

An example. In LibreOffice Calc, I go to change the link text style. Text is highlighted. It shows the changes as I'm changing the colour to black and removing the link underline. But when I click to another cell to see the results, none of the changes actually stuck. I have to do it twice to stick.

While 28 Years Later is the post-apocalyptic film with all the rage right now, I HIGHLY recommend 40 Acres (in theatres now!). Revolves around a Black-Indigenous family in a pandemic where food source is scarce. It deals with racism, colonization, generational trauma BUT has awesome action scenes.

Glad I have no concerts at the new Rogers Stadium in Toronto. How do moving seats in the upper level (aka nosebleeds) "exceed international safety codes"?! Sry, not dying Final Destination style for a show. Building the venue was rushed & there's no roof!

Had time to waste and went with a friend to check out a free exhibit at the NIX: Toronto Tattoo Show. It was mainly just photos of magazine covers and old candid shop photos. Explains why it was free lol
