I've said this elsewhere, but the last dozen or so years of American politics has mostly been about right wing media teaching our parents about forum drama and it driving them all insane.

My therapist put me on to the therapy approach of "Part Work" which feels like its describing exactly this, like, it doesn't use all the language i use for my plurality, but it describes the benefit i experience of treating parts of myself as entities with their own needs and desires!!
