decided to try another crack at the 4ms ensemble oscillator mystery port. turns out i was looking at the wrong chip specifications! it uses an stm32f767. a continuation of baby's first microcontroller:

yes, hello, police? i would like to report the crime of poors in my FOV. i have tried changing it in the settings from 70 to 110 and even installed a mod that destroyed the encampments and yet they still remain??? any plans to address this in the next patch?

after two days of learning how makefiles work and tracking down weird python dependencies, i have successfully built the 4ms ensemble oscillator from source and uploaded the resulting firmware file. time to discover what those undocumented pins labeled "screen" can do! #eurorack #morelikeeurohack

finally was able to reproduce a weird error that permanently corrupts save files with the eurorack nerdseq module equipped with the multi-io expander. every save file that uses audio samples on tracks 7 & 8 seems to become corrupted upon reloading the save, causing no sound. persists through reboots
