Stevie Nick's wrote the Fleetwood Mac song Silver Springs which came out in 1977 and is the only person in that lineup currently in billboard top 100. It's driven by millennials and Gen z posters on social media so I don't think your point totally holds up. Its not boomers, they've already seen her

Notice the efforts that many non trolls take to protect their privacy? Atproto, bluesky' protocol, was designed with privacy in mind. Many of these users do not want their location provided because that's a tenant of this platform and they may be at risk by exposing this. Block trolls. Never submit

Try making some of your own with avocado oil, chili flakes, Sichuan peppers, ajinomoto, fermented soybeans and spices to your liking like star anise, cinnamon, cumin, ginger and coriander. Lots of variations with the spice mix. Been making big jars for cheap. It's addicting but potentially healthier

The dog's concerned but you should explain there's some ice

I think the question nobody is asking is how Don Jr and the rest of the gop is gonna get their blow if they keep this up

You got it, you got it

I appreciate your discourse thank you as well, honestly.

As I said it's the dot payload rating simply showing that payload rating has increased significantly to dispell graphics that try to show capable utility vehicles are less capable as op used a misleading graphic from msm to try and argue to ban trucks because the ratio of bed to cab has decreased
November 11, 2025 at 2:13 AM
Lol nice out. That's not what you argued nor has anything to do with anything..bottom line is you said nothing has changed and the graph was disingenuous. Maybe stay on one argument if you pride yourself in any form of critical thinking. So you admit you're wrong? It's becoming to admit when you are
November 11, 2025 at 1:53 AM
To elaborate I learned this getting a bfa in sculpture not on a farm. I use trucks regularly as an artist and fabricator.I just would rather keep facts straight and avoid more laws and conversation about banning actual vital tools because people are annoyed with parking. Not all to the left are alike

Realize that standard was abandoned in the 70s for a more accurate rating called gvwr. Stamped on every vehicle. 1/2 ton trucks, f150, can often carry more payload than a diesel 3/4 because of engine and frame weight but tow less. Axles, frame and engine determines. Graph is DOT data I pulled down
November 10, 2025 at 7:16 AM
Lol, ya right. How do you get brainwashed like this. You need a bigger gross vehicle weight to tow more. Even an f150 tows between 8000 and 13000lbs and weighs like 4500lbs.Know what else weighs that much, most cars. A ho diesel ram 3500 pulls 40k.Just look it up instead of spouting straight nonsense.
November 10, 2025 at 2:10 AM
Ya, you mean Hyundai and Tesla drivers that cause the most fatal accidents statistically?
November 10, 2025 at 1:55 AM
It's called thinking about other people's needs. That's what
November 10, 2025 at 1:53 AM
Doesn't matter whether it's an f150 that's what op posted the deceiving graphic of.It's 6.5ft bed with a cab that can safely carry a family vs a single cab. What's WEIRD is equating facts to tryna date a truck or op calling people with functional vehicles cosplayers and fragile men. That's just hate

25% of Americans and 30% of Europeans still live in small towns or rural settings. Nearly everywhere else that number is way higher. 65% in India and 60% in Africa for example. But I'll say it's still wild Europe is at 30% living in small towns or rural environments.

Seriously? Ya the government should control whether you can go buy construction material for your own home, buy dirt, take trash to the dump, feed fo your animals, move your own stuff, or pull a trailer you maybe live in? It's called living and it's not a job. Most of the world still has to do that
November 9, 2025 at 8:13 PM
Oh 50% is your magic number? Do you think cargo magically has no weight? Trucks can carry at least twice as much weight and tow triple the weight over this same time period. Also trucks over a certain weight are taxed more unless used by a business. Only business trucks usually except heavier tax
November 9, 2025 at 7:59 PM
Maybe actually hauling weight or towing?
November 9, 2025 at 7:52 PM
@jonburkeuk.bsky.social you're missing a key data point in your graph so I made two to help you understand. Payload capacity and towing have drastically changed over this time. Old trucks could barely hold any weight nor tow. See images below. Some people actually use trucks and not for the bed size
November 9, 2025 at 7:51 PM
Ya mock people trying to move a used fridge. It's apparent a lot of people don't have to move things themselves or know much about trucks on this thread so see this simple graph I made to explain it to those that don't understand.

During the earnings call they cited 15b for the quarter for all r&d not for 4 researchers. They have been averaging nearly 13b a quarter in 2025. If they changed nothing and hired 4 researchers at 500m that's more believable but they have other new expenses too. Your statement while funny is false.

Thanks for this. Joe Brainard is one of my absolute favorites. "I remember" is an absolutely exquisite book.
