Pete Best has announced his retirement. I am so glad that I got to meet and talk to him just over two weeks ago. I wish all good things for him as he enters this new phase in his life. Thanks for everything, Pete!

Chatted with this very nice man for a few minutes today and watched him play drums for a while. Such a pleasant experience!

61 years ago, The Beatles made their first US appearance, on the Ed Sullivan Show. 1200 miles away, a baby spent his first night on Earth, having no clue that he would one day run a Beatles historical site. Pre-destined, wouldn't you say? I wouldn't. Interesting, but pure coincidence. Ha!

It has come to my attention that there are STILL some people who believe it was John who said "I've got blisters on my fingers" at the end of "Helter Skelter." My work may never be completed...

Not into shaming, so I won't identify the author, but there is a book that says that John asked George if he could play "raunchy" meaning in a raunchy style, completely missing that "Raunchy" is actually the name of a song. Ha!

Yeah. I was lucky enough to have been at an interview/signing in Nashville. Funny story, actually. The books were pre-signed, but he would personalize them. When he did mine, he discovered he was using a different pen, which his autistic self couldn't deal with. So he made a design out of it. Ha!
