So apparently Sony made a wildly niche product (MD) even more so with MD2 Data discs and a camcorder that was overloaded for it’s time. Now I can film 22 minutes at a time then upload for 3 hours lol

This is quickly becoming an addiction… thankfully building a collection of physical media is fun :) #md #minidisc

I found two of the MD players I most wanted for really good prices so the collection grows! Pictures are of a Sony S2 and a Judy & Mary edition Kenwood DMC-J3. From what I’ve found online the J&M edition only had 1000 total made, 500 of which were apart of a mail-in lottery among other prizes.

First NetMD player so gonna have to figure out burning minidiscs but I’m excited to use some of these blanks :D

I’m excited for the Kenwood Judy and Mary edition to arrive so I can do a history video on it!

Now if I could just find a service manual for the MD-ST601-A…
