I've been watching Alpha Arena: nof1.ai A website where AI models each get $10,000 to trade stocks. Only two days in, but it's interesting that Grok has fallen off a cliff, GPT-5.1 & Claude 4.5 are neck & neck, but Chinese models like Deepseek & Kimi K2 are roaring ahead with 15% return in 2 days.

The new hardware redesign for the Pebble Time 2 looks fantastic... okay, count me in, pre-ordered. Looking forward to 30 days battery life & heart-rate monitor too. @ericmigi.com thank you *so much* for bringing the Time 2 design closer to the Pebble Time Steel aesthetic!

The Furman finally arrived, so tonight has been about setting up the rack again. Not sure I like the Korg A3 being so far down ergonomically (I may swap around with the Pod XT), but it's a better position for routing power cables at the back. No SPX90 here as it's still broken.

For reference, this was the Pebble Time 2 in 2016 (never got released, though a few leaked out). If the new 2025 Pebble had this design, hell yeah I'd be in. Even if it costs 1.3x more than what they're charging. (1.5x might be pushing it, though with tariffs soon I'd probably have to expect that.)
