#BEV sales “could” be halved?
This is your best? A hopeful wish?
Even if that happened #BEV sales would still be 1000 times more than #hydrogen #FCEV.
“BYD quickly became the best seller in the UK”
More false claims about BYD.
Please stop posting this false nonsense.

Haha!!
You’re reduced to comparing buses to cars!! 🤪
Now I know you’re desperate!
But THREE #BEV buses use LESS energy and cost LESS to run than ONE #FCEV bus !! 😁
September 4, 2025 at 9:04 PM
You’re just clueless if you imagine that 1 #FCEV is the equivalent of 70 #BEV. I’ve no idea how you would reach that completely unfounded conclusion. You’ve zero evidence to support that weird idea. The best selling #BEVs in both Europe & the USA aren’t Chinese. They are American, European & Korean.

BMW still literally gaslighting the public.
If they ever “sell” more than a few dozen #Hydrogen #FCEV I’ll be very surprised. 😎

Meanwhile, the infrastructure for HGV charging is already there and continues to expand across Europe …

Exactly the same electric motors that hydrogen #FCEV cars use. So “most critical” for them too?
But not really, because high efficiency electric motors without those rare earth metals have always existed.
September 2, 2025 at 7:58 PM
No, the chart confirms that #FCEV is WAY more wasteful. Using 3x more energy for the same distance travelled. Contrary to your claim, there is NO Hyundai Hydrogen FCEV with a real world EPA or WLTP range of 1,000 miles. It looks like you don’t understand hypermiling or how that is done.
For example
September 2, 2025 at 6:25 PM
There is either a monopoly or there isn’t. There is no almost.
But in any case, there is actually more rare earth metal production outside of China.

Yes, you keep repeating that rare earth metals are critical for #BEVs but you still haven’t explained why you imagine that?
September 2, 2025 at 6:17 PM
First you claimed that China had a monopoly on lithium. When China isn’t even the greatest producer of lithium. Then you said China will be producing more than Australia by 2026. So doubling their actual output in a year, & it was YOU who said China didn’t need “the creation of entirely new mines”.
September 2, 2025 at 1:47 PM
Yes you sound like you understand what you’re talking about. Unlike our friend here, and you’re right about the technology progressively getting lower cost while increasing in volume.
August 31, 2025 at 6:26 PM
But #Hydrogen #FCEV cars 1st became commercially available in 2008. Pushed by Honda via its vast USA dealership network. Same year 5 guys in a garage delivered the first Tesla & 3 years BEFORE the first LEAF, & still #FCEV has gone nowhere while #BEV continues to grow massively.

“a lot less wasteful” - in reality …

Was just wondering if the people raising all these flags realise that St George is the patron saint of #Palestine? 🤔

Is H2 the future? - No.

Hello @mliebreich.bsky.social,
Hope you are well?
Do you know if an update to this very useful chart has been produced lately please?
May 23, 2025 at 11:29 AM
What do you think?
May 23, 2025 at 10:40 AM
HA! Ha!! ha!! 🤣
May 23, 2025 at 10:38 AM
There is almost no hydrogen fuelling infrastructure. No one is building it.
There are only 2 hydrogen cars available & no one is buying them anyway. Even the oil companies, who love the idea of hydrogen, & with billions to spend, aren’t building any infrastructure because they know electric works.

Will they be economically viable?

February 25, 2025 at 6:04 PM
There it is again. “COULD” import.
And, just as I knew it would, your intransigence with reality is getting tedious. It’s really very easy, just get back to me if it ever actually happens.
