Haha nice! I just had a bunch of punk covers of classics, Me First and The Gimme Gimmes etc! Threw in a bit of Blink 182, oldskool Green Day and Offspring etc. Felt a bit like an American Pie soundtrack but meh. All my mates loved it! Whole dance floor packed out to Scotty Doesn't Know!

"I GOTTA FEELING, THAT TONIGHT" I would rather be anywhere other than watching drunk girls and aunts dance with the flower girls to Black Eyed Peas and Bruno Mars. Especially when there's probably a game on that the guys are missing.

Ugh fucking generic wedding DJ playlists. When 'Dancing Queen' comes on and all the bride's friends rush from their seats and pull the bride to the dance floor with their heels off and flutes of bubbly I just wanna stab my eyes out with a dessert fork.

Come in, we meet on Thursdays!

Came here to say this! I thought I was the only one who hated this song with a passion!

It only pops up for me because they are an in Everton Feed I dont control, I certainly don't follow it. I have muted it now, enough is enough.

I don't buy the "DCL was poor because of Dyche" narrative. He has only had two of his nine seasons where he scored 8 or more goals, and that was under the best manager in the world. That's a lot of underachieving with a range of managers. Beto's half season surpasses 7 seasons of DCL.
June 30, 2025 at 6:57 AM
I'm honestly sick of this Everton News account. They make everything sound like clickbait, post every little rumour no matter how unbelievable and are quick to jump onto any negatives just to get anxious Evertonians to open their articles.
June 30, 2025 at 6:51 AM
He also didn't sign off with his full name and title in capitals, so how do we even know it really is him?
June 25, 2025 at 9:04 PM
Young hardly a busted flush. Old as the hills but fittest man in the squad, covered four positions, massive importance in the dressing room with experience. Just need younger legs.
June 17, 2025 at 2:53 AM
Not sure if this is the window for longterm replacements in every position? So many players needed, only so much we can spend.
June 16, 2025 at 9:04 PM
Even if we get Barry, i hope we don't sell Beto. If something happened to Barry, we rely on Chermiti to lead us? Hence why I think we hold Beto next season, and why I dont think we need to supplant him, we just need a cheap impact player to back him up. And focus on wingbacks and wingers.
June 12, 2025 at 11:14 AM
Yeah but Beto has more goals per minute and more shots on target. They are of a likeness, but Barry isn't £30m better, and he's unknown at PL level whereas we know exactly what to expect from Beto. Would rather put that money towards a decent winger and pair of wing backs.
June 11, 2025 at 12:51 PM
And for a fee, when we would have been happy to let him go for free 😂
June 9, 2025 at 1:32 PM
Wow, and here was me coming to BlueSky from X to avoid elitist asshole comments like this.

Oh wait, are you the same guy on X who said our last summer window was disappointing and Ndiaye was a reject?! I think you are! Oh haha, looks like nothings changed with you. Ta-ra!

But it's not 15. It's 12, and if Gueye re-signs it's 11. We get Armstrong back for first team, now 10. So get 5 loans and 5 free agents. Done, easy. Only spent on Alcaraz. Get Callum Wilson, he outscores DCL most seasons and is half the wages.
(Thelwell decreased wages every year since 2022).
June 1, 2025 at 12:08 PM
Summer 22/23 onwards. What's the point you're trying to make here?
May 31, 2025 at 5:18 PM
No, but my point still stands - any new signing we've made in the past 2 seasons has been on sensible wages and not the larger fees we signed people on before then. Basically, Thelwell did a great job in bringing in better players for cheaper fees. I assume that would continue.
May 31, 2025 at 5:10 PM
Because we signed players on stupid wages 4-5 years ago when we were on a spending spree. We had Doucoure on £130k, DCL on £100k, Keane on £80k, and this season got Ndiaye on £45k, OB on £35k and Timmy on £20k. What we pay players then and now is night and day, our recruitment then sucked.
May 31, 2025 at 9:42 AM
You can if you get free agents whose wages are less than those replaced. For example, Reguilon or Lamptey to replace Young, Forster to replace Begovic, Tuanzebe to replace Keane. Or promote Academy players who are pushing like Welch, Dixon.
May 31, 2025 at 9:00 AM
Joey Barton.
May 27, 2025 at 10:32 AM
Laurence Fox, obviously.
May 27, 2025 at 10:30 AM
I'd be looking at a bunch of free agents to get on the ride side of PSR and start making profit. Worry about splashing out on signings once we've steadied ourselves for a season. Cresswell or Reguilon, Forster or Fabianski, Tuanzebe, Lamptey etc. Many forget we're down to 12, need quantity too.
