i am just catching up on this but it seems pretty bad (and outright deluded) to launch a social network without explicitly blocking people from using the most well-known racial slur in the english language as a username

There are a lot of people who get more upset at cruelty directed towards animals like cats and dogs than at cruelty directed towards Black people, and that says something.
