Banning media has had such success with fascists and authoritarian governments over the years. In fact history shows banning things and censorship always solves the problem, and we now live in a beautiful world, where all the problems are gone.

Australia is well on the path to becoming America. Check my words in 15 years.

The world of money, marketing, formula, corporations and falseness, mistaken by so many as art.

Serious question Forbes: Why do you care?

Poverty began when we began to farm the land, which spawned ownership and then feudalism. It is when we ceased to live as community and began to live as individuals in competition against each other, as we still do.

Yes, equality or social ethics have literally 0 to do with available technology. Nothing.

I know, but that's like pruning a few leaves of a weed. You have to get to the root of the problem, which is the agreed upon social structure and values of a society. If the society values *freedom* and individuality, then it logically can't clip millionaires.

I was thinking that too. We don't know what an observer really is.

Can't say I understand this, but what I do understand is that a paradox is always the result of bad logic, or closed, self-referential conditions.

But you still haven't addressed a deeper cause for this inequality - the unshakable worship Americans have for 'freedom' and capitalism. Unless you address those at the foundation as a philosophical and ethical examination of societal principles, it's not going to change by raising or lowering wages

When a nutjob criticises a nutjob you can't support either of them.

Pretty true that.

Yes, it's all thoroughly corrupt in practice.
I see just now Trump has called for the release of everything. Seems he's satisfied now that finally everything is redacted.

Another issue is that the DOJ will be seen as weaponized whatever it does, which is another reason to stick to the letter of the law, where the burden of proof runs one way only.

I mean, we know he's guilty, but if it is not done correctly, things could be worse.

A problem with dumping all data is what just happened with Chomsky, now having his name potentially smeared, though likely innocent.
November 17, 2025 at 4:05 AM
Indeed. But on a strictly legal and lawful level, 'releasing all the files' is probably not legally justified or even ethical.
Don't know, but from what I can gather from gpt about why they're not releasing 'all the files'.

The problem seems to be that many women claim to be victims of Trump, but none specifically relating to Epstein, except one case that was withdrawn. One Epstein victim claims no knowledge of Trump being a perpetrator.
He's guilty as sin, but trying to understand if there's good reason for the laws.
November 17, 2025 at 3:15 AM
I believe the problem with releasing all data, is that much is kept private out of laws designed to protect the innocent. Ethical law which can't be changed without enough evidence. We all know he's involved, but a good system protects the innocent at the expense of a possible crim going free.

Yes

I doubt Noam is guilty of anything, because criminals are not always engaged in criminal activity. They have a clean front they present to the world as well, and still do regular business. We've probably all dealt with awful people and had no idea, at some time.

But did people do any good things, like enjoy the sunshine, or ride a bike?
