90% of our healthcare budget goes towards chronic and mental illness, but chronic means for life—there's very rarely a complete cure. It doesn't mean we're getting sicker than we always were. This data has been construed in such a way that it becomes deceitful, laying the groundwork for more lies.

Overall, it's filled with misinformation. Ex: it's true that high income countries like the US have the highest rates of autism, but that's because we're the most efficient at diagnosis.

"establish a framework for transparency and ethics review in industry-funded projects" really means any project needs to be federally reviewed for "ethics," but the rest of this order has already shown they believe diagnosis+ treatment is harmful. Any treatment they don't agree w/ becomes unethical

The stuff about transparency is really about a lack of medical privacy. The stuff about releasing findings to the maximum extent can lead to otherwise unpublished research being released, which is how misinformation spreads. Like the vaccines-cause-autism debacle
