I mean...maybe, but the dude seemed to exude creepiness, which can turn anyone ugly. He had more issues than just being a simple incel. His "manifesto" was extremely narcissistic, and his misogyny spoke volumes about his mommy issues.

The irony of incels is that they lust after women that look a certain way. Instead of looking deeper than surface value, they pursue seemingly unobtainable women, forcing themselves into incelhood. Instead of developing interpersonal skills, they take the lazy route by embracing misogyny.

As a later gen X (1979), I can guess that we are not immune to the cult of personality, indoctrination, from the bombardment of alt-right news. I think it comes down to the ability (or lack thereof) to think critically and objectively. No gen is safe from that.
