What are done if your favorite tiny things? Also, are we talking like Victorian doll houses, or something else? I'm not sure I know what this is and now am curious!

The garden is prepping itself for winter, so therefore the critters are too. Guess I can't be too mad. The seasons change, things bloom, they grow, they thrive, and they wither to make way for the next season. /|\

As I was admiring the way the garden is slowly letting go of itself for the upcoming season, a ruby hummingbird actually attacked me! All this year they haven't done anything more than yell at me, but not this one; I'm fairly certain it took a chunk of hair.

Oh, well if this was cause for a moment of giddiness then who am I to remove this just to repost?

Where I live, edivle gardening in front yards isn't permitted, it's so dumb. The only bird I've only seen are hummingbirds probably because the critters use the water most and scare off other birds. There are marigolds, sunflowers, cosmos, zinnias, milkweed and bee balm. Want to grow lavender next!

Goodness, it's time for me to get some sleep. I read "desecrated" and wondered how such a well-cared-for altar was defiled. 🤦‍♀️ Omgoodness sweet dreams!
