Debating between Tales of Zesteria/Berseria for FF7 remake now

Ni No Kuni ain't it tbh. I'm 12 hours in (probably more like 6 since I leave my games running a lot) and I just have very little interest in anything it's trying to do at all. The trails were pretty cool but not a single character interests me, the capture system sucks and the story is so very basic

Ni No Kuni, for as good as the combat is, and as cute and pretty as it is, it just makes me wish I was playing tales of Symphonia. The games are pretty similar in content, but the story just better in Symphonia. I really hope it starts to differentiate soon

Damn okay. A whole ass school textbook with a table of context and everything all for magic. Even has a potentially decipherable alphabet. That's pretty cool

In my quest to finally play games that have been on my to play list for years, I finally started Ni No Kuni remastered and though gibli did great the transitions between the two styles are jarring and the non gibli is kinda bad. and with weird story decisions, I'm finding it hard to get into

So I never used Twitter and I wasn't expecting to use B.S either but a bunch of people have followed me so I felt like I needed to attempt using this place anyway, but I also feel like I have nothing worth sharing for the most part
