I think it’s more than that. Report a good start but I suspect it was tightly drawn in scope and “interference in politics” can be much more than interference with politicians and SPADS: also subverting journalists, astro-turfing, supporting causes / groups which promote division in UK etc.

The centre will not hold. It is protected by morally weak people, more focused on process and politesse than outcomes, keen to protect their personal positions for as long as possible

Cool :)

You’ll announce here when you publish? :)
November 30, 2025 at 1:37 PM
Ah… a work in progress, not something to download right now? :)

The Tories will move first in about three leaders time I.e. after Jenrick. Glasman will be a brake on Labour moving

You’re asking for politicians to be honest rather than dancing cynically to the tunes of the far right and the MSM… not happening.

How has the Guardian covered this issue over the last 10 years? Honestly reported the impact on GDP? correctly identified root causes etc?

Yes :)

The teacher was great (and is long retired) :).

It was one of the other students.

It’s a wonderful thing… though having the flexibility of a girder, I find some poses “challenging” :)

Why do we default to assuming politicians are good faith actors? History since at least 2010 demonstrates this is not the case.

Years ago, my work routine was stable enough to be able to attend a yoga class. Teacher was great :) Most folk going were older than me. Was asked about my ambitions…”Sit cross-legged with both knees down (ish).” Sour look back :) I enjoy yoga… will restart… eventually :)

Which is interesting in its own way. However, i believe that Lab (& Con) will actively oppose any investigation into Russian interference
November 30, 2025 at 12:19 PM
It’s going to be wild when UKG opposes the motion to investigate Russian interference in UK politics in the debate required by the petition. Lab is a status quo government - see case before ECtHR

Ok. Off in search of trauma counselling now to rid me of that image :)

They all seem smug, self-satisfied.
November 30, 2025 at 8:00 AM
Wow. More good news :) Had feared she’d be hanging around for ages yet

Because nobody “that counts” cares because they were all getting richer in some way
November 30, 2025 at 7:16 AM
Nope. The current institutions need to be razed to the ground and the ground needs to be salted and concreted over
November 30, 2025 at 7:08 AM
They got the benefits they wanted: increased concentration of wealth, more impunity for the wealthy, increased profiteering in services, degraded institutions, bigotry unleashed and increased authoritarianism. Country’s a basket case and won’t confront reality of joining thx to Glasman

🫂. Very sorry that happened :( Glad you’re out with loved ones

Hadn’t come across that definition before but “yes” can see that in action.
November 29, 2025 at 4:35 PM
Yes. Need to keep the Chardonnay flowing, pay the mortgages, the school fees, for horse riding lessons etc… and bow down before their masters.

MSM needs to be razed to the ground. Its role in supporting austerity, genocide, institutional transphobia, its lack of morals, exposed, disinfected
November 29, 2025 at 4:32 PM
All of that. I stopped thinking about “national security” some time ago… to your point - too narrow. Started to think in terms of “the security of the nation state”… encompassing the usual but also e.g. health of institutions (oops), social contract (oops), integrity of the media (sigh) etc.

Who will hold him to account? Any sign of the Democrats taking a strong public line on holding him to account? If he is held to account will there be consequences or will SCOTUS simply bland it all out?
