I like the lime green, while it looks good on the horns next to the frill I don't think it'd make as much sense on the snout. The lime is more cohesive.

Socks is something I'm really itching to try!! I've done knitting just garter flat and colorwork in the round so far, and for crochet I've done various amigurumi patterns and a colorwork c2c blanket. Much to learn still on both fronts.
