So you don’t think improving peoples lives would work? Investing in public services & institutions? Tackling the cost of living? Because people are only attacking immigrants and immigration because they are told that is who is causing the problems.

There is a difference between an economic migrant and an asylum seeker. Maybe go and learn about why people seek asylum, what an economic migrant is and the benefits they bring to the UK before judging what they should or shouldn’t do

If it’s mandatory it is not volunteering is it.
Mahmood’s take is that all asylum seekers and migrants should ‘volunteer’ regardless of what they are already contributing. Anyone working and being part of their community are already contributing, why should they be forced to do more ?

Obviously you don’t know any asylum seekers or migrants and how much they give to society because they are so grateful to have somewhere safe to call their home. Most are more involved in society than British people. Why should they be forced to do something extra to prove their worth?
