Researcher in sustainable agriculture. Hoping to save the world, maybe through science, maybe though politics.

Full of laughing gas and ennui.
This is the government prioritising “social cohesion” I see…

The supernovae episode made me (a grown man at time) cry when I first saw it and I imagine it’s doing the same to other people every day. How I feel about supernovae is how I imagine religious folk feel about their god, and for similar reasons (role in creation).

Also, one nation are also no more relevant. But what’s the bet Albo follows the path of UK Labour and starts enacting all their policies anyway…

And Hanson would have never been kicked out of the modern day liberal party -her vile racism would fit right in.

I bet they conveniently still didn’t have time to mention the connection between the winter storm and climate change

Did we ever really have that America, or were we always pretending? Voting no as you can probably guess.

Definitely sounds like he now has total control of Greenland. Definitely.
January 21, 2026 at 8:43 PM
Thank you for not holding back despite all the crap you’ve had to deal with of late.
January 20, 2026 at 10:51 PM
Consider it a no. Do not give that idiot another billion $ (he’s already getting hundreds of billions from us for fantasy submarines) or any pretence that this fake UN is legitimate.
January 19, 2026 at 4:24 AM
Wow, those are some cool names.
January 17, 2026 at 11:36 PM
Good. It sounded like he was stubbornly keeping it stapled together so it could fail and he could blame the greens (his main priority in government). Glad to see he actually is willing to move on gun control.

With Albo’s ridiculous brand of ‘centrism’ though I sadly don’t think we can assume it won’t happen

One of many reasons why, despite the modern world having at least one technology that can fix imperfect vision, we still have people with imperfect vision.
January 12, 2026 at 3:28 PM
Well yes, given everything else we know about him you I wouldn’t either. But if success were based on merit (as musk types like to say it is) the world’s richest person certainly wouldn’t be confused about something so basic.
January 12, 2026 at 12:39 PM
LASIK isn’t banned now but I still wear glasses! This is the same dumb argument used against wheelchairs in sci-fi or fantasy with magical healing. Just because lasik can cure some vision impairments, doesn’t mean it can cure all. You’d think musk would get that…

I play this is both my mono white and boros deck - if I can’t ramp myself up un-ramp everyone else. Almost no one ever seems to know about it though.
January 11, 2026 at 5:18 PM
Good, make him campaign on this. Make him tell everyone that he wants trade to be difficult, he wants businesses to be short staff and wants every job in the EU to come with a “Brits need not apply” notice as it does not.
January 10, 2026 at 12:24 PM
It’s sad that this statement doesn’t really give me any clue as to what country you’re from…
January 10, 2026 at 12:21 PM
No way he’ll hands the courage. Ditto Starmer.

You wouldn’t want to invade Greenland if you didn’t expect it to melt though. They’re not expecting to dig through 2km thick ice sheets to get their stolen minerals.
January 9, 2026 at 8:25 AM
Crazy that the media has just realised that farage might have said some racist things when he was a kid, after they spent decades now pretending not to hear all the racist things he said as an adult.
January 8, 2026 at 4:33 PM
Yep, the problem here is who they coordinated with. That’s all.
January 8, 2026 at 3:06 PM
If only there were some evidence that we could look at to help us work out what happened. Nope, too hard for “journalists” today, their job is apparently to summarise press releases and leave it at that. Just as they dreamed of when they decided to be a reporter when they were kids.

Just like their discussion of trump’s “Greenland plans”. Do they talk about putin’s “Ukraine plans”? Of course not, they correctly call that an invasion. But when trump does it there’s suddenly two sides.
January 8, 2026 at 10:10 AM
You couldn’t get a job at McDonald’s with a nazi tatoo, yet trump will happily give this guy high powered weaponry, $100k per year and trust him to keep the country “safe”.
