I had a fun weekend at Twin Cities Con, where I was part of some great writing panels! I also got to attend some neat q&a’s w/ the cast of the Mummy (90’s version) & Giancarlo Esposito w/my 2 favorite people.

This weekend I’ll be at Twin Cities Con! This will be my first year attending & I’m really looking forward to it. There is a lot at the con but if you want to see ME, this is where you’ll find me. Though, I totally understand if you stand me up to go hang with the cast of the movie, “The Mummy.” 😉

A while ago I was able to work on something very cool - The Crooked Moon by @avantris.bsky.social. Today I recieved 1 of 2 box of goodies & recieved my author copy of the book! It’s all beautiful! I’m so excited!

Driving to #gencon! Drove halfway last night and now stopping to pick up a bunch of friends for some Kopp’s burgers before we continue on our arduous journey. 😋

It has been a wild weekend. From celebrating birthdays to having a SNEAK ATTACK SURGERY to have my spare organ (silly appendix) removed Monday. If I don’t get back to people right away it’s because I’m recovering. I managed to get free of the hospital yesterday afternoon at least!

Fun w/Pandora last night. At 12am she was freaking out, licking her lips, & foaming at the mouth. So an emergency vet trip! When we got there, she was down to just drooling & very shortly after were in the room, she was fine. Lots of monitoring today. She’s pretty quiet but took a treat from Sammi.

I think she has forgiven me for the vet visit. Came demanding pets and for me to hold her. ❤️ But pretty wiped out.

After a busy morning of taking Pandora to the vet, we learned she has a double eye infection and a flare up in her lungs of her herpes. My poor scaredy cat was traumatized but she’s happy to be home and has her eye antibiodics.

Busy weekend! Worked on the house & managed some fun too! Installed foam in the bathroom basement which was an unexpected. Needs to be spray foamed yet.
Also managed to get in a Tarkir MTG prerelease. We did abysmally but that’s part of the game - you never know what cards you’ll open. Still fun!
