Those are symbols of Palestinian's wish for sovereignty and basic survival. The violence enacted by some does not represent the whole-- in the same way that Israel's actions do not represent all Jews (and criticism of Israel is not inherently anti-Semitic), these symbols of freedom, nothing more.

This video goes over everything more extensively. She has made statements that pro-Palestinian protesters are not motivated by ending war but strictly motivated by anti-Semitism and targeting Jewish people.

I never had a Twitter and was always flabbergasted by the cultural shift towards consuming political content in extremely short-form... I think many of our current political cultural problems (dehumanization, polarization, apathy) come from that medium becoming central to political discourse.
