The Shadow of What Was Lost by James Islington. This is a long one but there is enough that happens in the story that it doesn't feel too big. Overall the story is great with a fascinating plot. At times it feels like it struggles with continuity but it might just be me. Its worth a read though!

The Sword of Kaigen by M. L. Wang... Uffda this is one of the most emotional books ive read. The author is very good at getting you to really care about the characters and what happens to them. Very very good read.

Fury of the Gods by John Gwynn. Book 3 of The Bloodsworn Trilogy. Amazing ending to a good book. Again if you like the show Vikings or just like viking lore this is a great trilogy to read. The middle is a little slow due to a lot of set up for an epic ending. Tears were shed at the end of this book

Ive been asked a lot about what has been better having a kid this time around compared to our 1st. We'll not having g a kid at the height of the covid pandemic is one thing, but the fuckin Baby Brezza is a absolute game changer. On demand formula.

The Hunger of the Gods is a brutal, fast paced, and thrilling second book in The Bloodsworn Trilogy. If you like the show Vikings this is a must read. John Gwynn knows how to tell a story!

Rise of Empire by Michael Sullivan. Five stars. Epic story. Invested from start to finish. Gotta read book one first but this (book two) is amazing. Heavy cliffhanger leading to the finale.

Theft of Swords by Michael Sullivan is a great book. It has great characters and some funny moments. Fast paced when it should be. The author does a good job of making you care what happens so you want to keep reading. A very good story with some good twists and interesting mystery.
