I added some small painted bulbs to the Christmas tree. The red and yellow work well but the blue add less than nothing to the project.

Tired of the kids rifling through my nearly 30 year old versions, I caved and got the kids their very own copies of Animorphs!
They now run around the house screening that the Yeerks are attacking. @kaaauthor.bsky.social has hooked another generation of my family.

First big walk. A tad under 2 miles (we took a wrong turn and ended up on the long path.)
She walked ahead for 30 seconds, would turn around and touch all 3 kids. Eliza, Logan, Xander, in that order. Then back to the front to start the process all over again

If the dishwasher gets even an inch closer to the counter, it won't turn on. I've never had anything like this happen before.

foam sword yesterday. Just a little project to keep me busy.
My favorite part of making these is alwaysdoing the fake leather. Getting a flat white sheet of foam to look like this always feels a bit miraculous
