Also, yer man Weaver after Coventry’s equaliser v West Brom - ‘the Championship’s responders have responded again’, like they’re an emergency service.

The modesty thing that scorers do when they point to the assister to give them their dues… Enzo goes to the crowd after scoring, but the fella at the front points him to Guiu who’d ‘done the hard work’. Loved seeing the crowd judge where the credit goes. More of this for big head scorers, please.

Delighted you’re back, enjoyed it as always.

That’s a beauty.

Yeah me either, just noticed your post by chance after weirdly discussing that gig with a mate only a couple of days ago.

Ha, if I did that it’s more likely to change my life for the worse than yours for the better. If you’re ever actively selling you’ve got interest here.

Hi! Is that for sale, please?

Deep into the second half Ferdinand seemed to measure Acerbi’s heart rate in knots.

Bravo. Have loved living vicariously through you this season, envious but happy you’ve done what I can’t and covered it so well. Thank you!

I can only assume you’ve seen the photo of Dan Burn pushing a car off a roundabout this week.

Delighted to see some Sykes.

Ivanov, yeah?

It’s surely impossible to dislike him, plus anyone named Alberigo (let alone one that cool) gets my vote. It’s short-term vibes and nostalgia appointments if nothing else, but it’s worked before elsewhere and they’ve tried everything else at this point. Time to add a new chapter to the legend.

Thanks for taking the time to write this (and your contributions last week) - despite the grim season and current predicament the footage of the legends from this week has been ace to watch, and as fan from afar it’s great to have more local reporting to bring it all together. Here’s to hoping!

Nigel Clough’s quotes here about L1 Mansfield being beaten by ‘top sides’ and listing their ex-PL status as a qualifier of that - even Huddersfield is a bit of a stretch now, but I’m not having Charlton at all. www.examinerlive.co.uk/sport/footba...

Why don’t you see ‘keepers booting it out of their hands with both feet (individually, not both at once)? How hard can it be to get good at it? Half the time they’re kicking it into a general area. Might come in handy with an annoying striker standing in your kicking arc or whatever it’s called.
